At Sirus Mining, we’re proud to showcase our latest project: a special driftrunner build for a Bowen Basin mine client.

This isn’t just any rebuild—it’s a transformation with a purpose.

Repurposing with purpose

Our journey began with an old ambulance. Instead of letting it retire, we breathed new life into it, turning it into a fully functional ute driftrunner. The engine, transmission, and differentials underwent complete overhauls, ensuring excellent performance for its new role.

Customised for excellence

We didn’t stop at the mechanics. The old ambulance body was swapped out for a new tray back ute, featuring custom drop sides for added versatility.

Inside, the cab received a total makeover with brand-new seats and a fully updated interior fit-out, ensuring comfort and functionality.

A symbol of men’s health

To highlight the importance of men’s health, the driftrunner was repainted in a striking sky blue and custom stickers added. This colour choice is more than aesthetic—it’s a conversation starter, reminding everyone of the significance of men’s health issues.

Ready for the mines

The rebuilt driftrunner isn’t just for show. It’s set to serve as a workshop service vehicle, equipped with all the latest upgrades to meet the stringent specifications of the mining industry. Our client can now rely on this vehicle for dependable performance and reliability.
