Here’s a closer look at what’s available:
Engine types: diesel and LPG
You can choose from 2.5t, 3t, and 3.5t diesel and LPG engines, ensuring you have the power you need for any job. These proven engines, including the LK4B for LPG/petrol and the Mitsubishi S4S for diesel, are known for their durability and performance. Designed by Hyundai and manufactured under licence in China, these engines align with the current trend of importing high-quality material handling equipment.
Wet brake system
A standout feature of the 7U model is the wet brake system, which is now standard. This semi-permanent wet disc brake offers greater reliability and requires less maintenance compared to traditional dry disc brakes, increasing service life and productivity.
Lift heights and tyre options
The 7U forklift is capable of lifting up to 6000mm, making it perfect for high stacking and deep racking applications. You also have the choice of pneumatic, solid, or non-marking tyres, depending on your operating environment.
Carriage and cabin options
For enhanced versatility, the 7U offers Integral side-shift, hook-on side-shift, fork positioning (synchronised or independent), and side-shift fork positioning. Operator comfort and safety are also a priority, with various cabin configurations available to suit your needs.
Visibility and safety features
Visibility is key in material handling, and the 7U model delivers with options for front-only or front and rear cameras. The load sensing system ensures accurate cargo weight measurement with a margin of error of just ±0.5%. The travel speed control system allows you to switch between indoor (Rabbit) and outdoor (Turtle) modes, capping speed at 8km/h in Turtle mode without affecting mast performance.

The Hyundai 7U forklift is packed with features designed to enhance performance and reliability. The HMC engines are renowned for their efficiency and longevity. LED working lamps and operator position sensing system

The panorama, RH, and LH Side mirrors provide a wide range of rear views, improving situational awareness. The rear grip bar & horn add an extra layer of safety and convenience when reversing.
Seat belt interlock system

The Hyundai 7U forklift is designed with ergonomics in mind, offering a comfortable driver’s seat and noise and vibration reduction features such as hood insulation and urethane floor mats. Maintenance is a breeze with the toolless side cover and floor plate, easy access to mission controllers and filters, and a conveniently located car-style fuse box.
Simplified maintenance
The 7U model is built for easy and cost-effective maintenance. The detachable T/M and D/A allow for straightforward upkeep, while the plastic sub-bonnet makes radiator maintenance a cinch. The rear cover configuration prevents foreign substances from entering the engine radiator, ensuring your forklift remains in top condition.
